No. Mobile browsers cannot reliably keep background location monitoring active. Use the web log for manual drives, imports, classification, and export. Native iOS and Android apps are the correct home for automatic detection.
In your browser on this device. TuzzMiles does not receive the drive records. Open Settings to download a recovery copy and save it in your own iCloud Drive, Google Drive, or another private location.
No. The web log can download and restore a private recovery copy. Native recovery uses the backup or file storage you control. TuzzMiles does not need a server-side location account.
Date and miles are required. A row marked Business also needs Rate cents per mile so its deduction history stays exact. Rate period is recommended. Start, end, purpose, and classification remain optional.
A row is skipped when the date cannot be read, mileage is missing or nonpositive, or the distance is implausibly large. The importer reports the skipped count before you finish.
Business drives dated January 1 through June 30 use 72.5 cents per mile. Drives dated July 1 through December 31 use 76 cents per mile.
No. TuzzMiles organizes records and applies published mileage rates. Eligibility and substantiation depend on your circumstances. Ask a qualified tax professional when you are unsure.
